Your friends at the Arlington Book Club have diligently made time to study the latest novels while enjoying our habitual martinis. As always, we are keen to share our recommendations — starting with our October selection, Son of Nobody by Yann Martel. The author’s first new novel in a decade, it tells the story of Harlow Donne, a Canadian academic. When he took a job at Oxford, he discovered a fragment of a long-lost epic.
