You might recall that this was a favourite dish of his late mother, who simply refused to veer from her standard order at Le Caprice, despite many attempts to convince her to diversify.)
So perhaps it is in her honour that we’ve decided to continue with the Arlington Classics menu all autumn at the weekend. It consists of Bang Bang chicken, salmon fish cake with sorrel sauce and iced berries with white chocolate, and to spice things up, we are adding second options for starters and mains. It’s priced at £29 for two courses, and £34 for three. It practically requires a martini or at the very least, a glass of Chablis. (Although the late Mrs King generally stuck to water, with perhaps the occasional glass of wine.
