Our team recently gathered for a champagne toast to reflect on the first two years of Arlington, which opened in February 2024 (although it feels like yesterday).
We reflected on the many wonderful memories we have made with you all.
‘As we approached the opening date of Arlington, an oft-repeated question was whether I was feeling emotional,’ recalls our own Jeremy King. ‘I explained that I had ‘done the emotion’ when I first returned after 20 years to inspect, and then the memories flooded back. But I was wrong, because as I watched former customers come through the door with tears on their cheeks, I realised how important the restaurant was to so many, and was very moved.’
