Will You Be One of Our ‘Outsiders’?

If you like our bar, then you’ll love our terrace

Does anything interesting happen at the office after 5pm? We think not — especially in this season of (generally) glorious weather. Which is why our terrace, which has recently had a bit of a glow-up, is emerging as the place to be in the early evenings.

You are welcome to join us for dinner al fresco, as our full menu is available. And although it’s not generally known, you are equally welcome to pop in for a drink. On the snack front, we have news. We have retired our £12 oyster special for the summer season, although oysters will remain on the bar menu.

Early Evening Offers in St James’s

Now, indoors and outdoors from 5 to 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday, we will serve Arlington’s classic steak or tuna tartare with sourdough toast for £12. It tastes best with an ice-cold gin or vodka martini (also £12). If this is not a perfectly good excuse to flee the office at 4.45, then we’re afraid it might be time to seek new employment. We’ll be waiting for you.

Join Us on the Terrace

Our terrace is at its best in the early evening, so we recommend booking ahead to secure your table, whether you’re joining us for drinks, dinner, or both.

Planning your escape already? Make Arlington your after-work destination this week. Gather your colleagues, arrive a little earlier than usual, and settle in for the evening.
